What would you say if I told you that over the last century America and Western Europe have departed from God’s commandment and have actually adopted a pagan outlook regarding marriage? Sadly, many churches today have been deceived into condoning “Divorce and Remarriage which Jesus called adultery. The abandonment of Christ’s teachings on the subject of “LIFELONG MARRIAGE” has led to the emotional scarring of multitudes of men, women, and children. In this paper Pastor Sullivan examines Jesus’ teaching on the “Lifelong Bond of Marriage” and challenges Christians to abandon pagan traditions and return to the right ways of God.

A few years ago Pastor Sullivan wrote a limited series of articles entitled “Holy Leaven.” This particular article entitled, “Flashpoint” was written to explain his concern over the changes his former fellowship made in regards to "Divorce and Remarriage." In this paper Pastor Sullivan explains the dangerous precedents this one change sets. He explains the rationale behind this one doctrinal change is the beginning of a fire of apostasy which will and has destroyed churches and damned souls. This article is placed alone to explain to his friends why he believed he had no other option but to take a stand.
